This year, we’re strongly encouraging every teen to come with an adult who can be a supportive presence in their life long beyond a weekend event. This might be a youth leader or pastor coming with a group of teens, a parent or grandparent coming with several of their teenage family members, a few young adults bringing a few teens from their church community, or a different arrangement entirely. We believe that discipleship happens in long-term relationships and we want to support the good work that God is already doing in the lives of teens. If you don’t have someone in your life who can be that person for you, we’ll match you up with a volunteer discussion leader for the small group portions of the day. On that note - we need volunteer leaders!

Lodging

Several accommodations are available to rent on the Wilfrid Laurier Campus. Groups are responsible for the supervision of any teens staying in these accommodations and must make these arrangements on your own. Keep in mind the SafeChurch/Abuse Prevention policies of your church regarding overnight events involving youth and operate within them. Details are below.

Groups are also welcome to make arrangements of their own, including staying at a local church. Community CRC in Kitchener has offered sleeping space in their building - reach out to them if that’s of interest.
