+ What should I do if I lost my confirmation page?

Email registration@allontario.com and we'll send you a new one.

+ When should I arrive at the AOYC?

Plan to arrive at Wilfrid Laurier University between 5pm-8pm. The first session starts at 8:30, so don't be late!

+ I don't have a roommate/my roommate didn't register - what do I do?

Many people come without a roommate - we'll match you up with someone great! Don't worry too much. You'll get to know a bunch of new friends throughout the weekend.

+ Will my dietary needs be accomodated?

If you registered before May 1 and listed your dietary needs on your registration form, the Laurier food services staff have your request and will prepare accordingly. Check with the food services staff who are serving each meal to find out what you can eat or if the kitchen has prepared an alternative.

+ How can I change my roommate request?

Email roommate@allontario.com for help. This is extremely difficult to do less than two weeks before Convention, because rooms have already been assigned by then.

+ What should I bring to the AOYC?

Visit http://www.allontario.com/aoyc-2019 and scroll down for a downloadable packing list.

+ I can't afford to register - is there financial help available?

Yes! Check out http://www.allontario.com/financial-support/ for info.

+ I want to be a volunteer - can I apply?

Yes! Check out the leaders section.

+ I am having issues entering my phone number.

Ensure you are using dashes. If having issues on your cell phone, type your phone number in the email section with dashes (using the regular keyboard), and then copy/paste that into the phone number spot.

+ Could I have more than one roommate?

Nope. We have double and single rooms typically, so 2 is the max for a room. If you would like to be near another friend, please note that in your roommate request.

+ I WOULD LIKE A T-SHIRT, BUT HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED.

Email registration@allontario.com with requested size. The registration team will send you a PayPal invoice for payment.

+ PAYPAL CRASHED WHILE I WAS TRYING TO PAY, WHAT DO I DO?

Email registration@allontario.com with your name and confirmation #, and they will send you another PayPal invoice to pay.

+ I REGISTERED MULTIPLE TIMES IN ERROR, WHAT DO I DO?

We regularly delete duplicates in the system, simply ensure you pay by the appropriate deadline.

+ Can I pay by cheque?

We make every effort to streamline and simplify the registration process, so we've moved to online payments only. You'll be sent a link to pay after registering. For questions regarding cheque payment, please contact registration@allontario.com.

+ Will the event be broadcast online?

Check out our Live Stream for mainstage sessions. Tentative times are: Friday - 8pm, Saturday - 9am, Sunday - 9am and 7:30pm, Monday - 10am

Financial Support

Financial Support

We don't want anyone to miss out because they can't afford the registration fee. Money for student sponsorship has been generously donated by the AOYC Community and the "Add-A-Friend" registration option, so we're able to offer financial support to teens in need.

If you want to come to the AOYC but can't afford to come, please email sponsorship@allontario.com and briefly explain your circumstances. Alternatively, fill out the form below! We'll get back to you with details on how we can help.

Requests will be evaluated beginning in January. Until then, continue exploring other avenues of funding where possible - your church, your family, etc.

history

Each year 1,000+ youth from all over Ontario meet with God for four days of life-changing experiences.

The All Ontario Youth Convention traces its roots all the way back to 1975 when a group of young adults began hosting province-wide gatherings for young people within the Christian Reformed denomination.

Fast forward more than 40 years and the AOYC continues to grow, with over 1,000 youth and leaders attending in 2019.

Teens are given opportunities to grow through dynamic, youth-focused speaking and teaching that challenges each person to impact the communities that God has placed them in. Service opportunities, recreation and relationship building activities, games, intramurals, concerts, and meals add to a full weekend of life-changing experiences.

What is AOYC all about?

  • Meeting people in their brokenness so God can heal them

  • Encouraging and equipping leaders so God can use them

  • Creating an environment where God can transform people

  • Providing a catalyst for innovative change in church and community

For the last number of years, the AOYC has been hosted at Wilfred Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. Its central location makes it ideal for many of the students traveling to the Convention and it has great accommodations and facilities.

Students are housed in the dorms (separate male and female buildings) with roomates and leaders. Small groups also meet in dorms and common areas.

Meals are served in Laurier's cafeteria. Mainstage sessions are held in the athletic facility, and reach-ins (smaller workshops) take place in a variety of classrooms and theatres.
