Meisha Watson is an actor, host, content creator, and speaker whose work spans television, live events, and digital media. Known for bringing joy and innovation to every platform, she is deeply passionate about sharing the love of Jesus through creative storytelling. Meisha is the creator and host of the biblical variety show Hey Meisha and the podcast My Single Story, and she partners with Christian non-profits across Canada to create content that inspires audiences to share the gospel.

Awaken Worship was founded in 2020 by worship leaders Nigel Broersma and Joel Brill with a shared heart to awaken worship within our churches and call people into the presence of God through unified praise. While Joel has since returned to Australia, Awaken Worship continues today as a team committed to serving the wider Church through worship. 

Led by Nigel alongside a passionate team—Kaitlyn Ropp, Josh Broersma, James Hoogsteen, Adam Hoogsteen, and James Stapley—Awaken Worship brings together worship leaders and musicians from six different churches. Awaken Worship is excited to be back again for AOYC 2026.

Mike Gordon

Mike Gordon is known as one of the friendliest people in the Christian event industry and is also one of the most booked Christian speakers in North America, with over 3,300 speaking engagements, and a ministry that has reached more than one million people.

As an ordained pastor with eight years of post-secondary education, Mike has teamed up with speakers like Nick Vujicic, Francis Chan, and Bob Goff, shared the stage with bands such as TobyMac, Skillet, and For King & Country, and spoken in places like Jerusalem, Dubai, London, and many other cities around the world.
